Dugan's Journal November 20th, 2019

Hello All, Dugan here to tell you bit about our first adventure.  I will let Farion share his tale of our first adventure in Morriganland after we left Raven's Bluff. Once you are finished with his summation, finish reading my journal entry here.

Farion's Tale Chapter 1

Locations:

Raven's Bluff:  
We took the ship Crescent Dove from this port to travel to Morriganland.  It was a medium size port, with a mix of all the noble races.  

Village of Cove Long:  
Our first stop off the boat when we arrived in Morriganland.  It was a pleasant village, expect for the bandits that were waiting on the road between Cove Long and Kindleview.

Kindleview:

The population is made up of farmers and sheep-herders.  Currently their militia has been sent away to help the kingdom.  Their guards are two 16 year old boys Chip and Dale.  (The town might need us to stay awhile as the these young lads are a bit wet behind the ears.)  Notable locations are the Harvest Inn, Forest of Kindleview, and the Were-Jackal Cave.  

Harvest Inn:  

The inn is owned by Beatrice whom everyone in town calls "B".  This is the central gathering area for the town and many of the locals stop by after a hard day of work.  

Forest of Kindleview:

This forest is the habitat of many dangerous creatures as we have found out by exploring.  There are goblins to the west and there is the Were-Jackal cave to the northeast.  We can not forget the wandering half-ogre.  The forest also contains many rare mushrooms, some that could even put you to sleep.  Those mushrooms have a red and yellow color to them.  

Were-Jackal Cave:

This is where we found Arnold and his father who has been cursed by a witch to be a lycanthrope in the form of a jackal.  The location is also a cook site for a half-ogre.  

NPCs:

Deimos of the Red Flag
This old man is our contact in this new world and is the reason we crossed the ocean for three weeks.  We await to see what information and adventures he brings to our trio.  

Beatrice "B"
She is a plump older woman and owner of the Harvest Inn.  (She seems to be very generous and kind to her patrons and the people of Kindleview)

Clara Dinkle
Married to Roger and mother of Arnold.  She is currently running her family farm after her husband Roger was cursed by a witch and is unwilling to return home.  (A very sad state of affairs, I hope one day we can convince him to come home and try to deal with his curse.  It seemed young Farion was close)

Roger Dinkle
Cursed to be a were-jackal by an unknown witch.  His current whereabouts are unknown.  

Arnold Dinkle
Son of Clara and currently back at home with his mother.

Gurbo
A gnome who is also a guide of the surrounding areas of Kindleview.  He knows where mushrooms of different varieties are located through the forest.  (He also seems to like his alcoholic beverages)

Chip & Dale
Two 16 year old boys who were left behind to guard the town while the militia were sent off to help the kingdom.
