Dugan's Journal, December 11, 2019, The Chamber of Seraphina Vergehold



Hello All, 

 Dugan here to tell you bit about our second adventure.  First, take a look at Farion's recounting of our adventures exploring the The Chamber of Seraphina Vergehold in Morriganland.  You can read it right here.

We enjoyed a few days of festivities in town before we left "B" to travel with Deimos of the Red Flag

Lowenden:  
This was a town near The Chamber of Seraphina Vergehold.  It had short-walls and flew red banners.  It had docks on the river it was built next to.  The town is loyal to King Argos of the Red Flags



The Chamber of Seraphina Vergehold:  
These ruins were rumored to hold an powerful Amulet of Luck, that could be cursed.  This item could help King Argos remain control of his Kingdom and not allow a warrior named Marcus Strongarm from causing a civil war.  We had to brave a bridge of spiders, giant statues, along with traps within the Tomb.  Luckily we were able to 

NPCs:

Deimos of the Red Flag
This old man is our contact in this new world and is the reason we crossed the ocean for three weeks.  He brought us to The Chamber of Seraphina Vergehold to retrieve an Amulet for the King.  Sadly it turned out that he betrayed us and trapped us in the tomb, leaving us to die.    

Karl The Fist
He is a large human with a pony tail.  he wears no shirt and has black eyeliner.  he is a henchman for Deimos.  


King Argos
We have not met the King, but he rules the Kingdom of the Red Flags which seems to be on the brink of civil war.  


Marcus Strongarm
He is one leading a rebellion against King Argos.  Does Deimos work for him?  


Questions for the next session and beyond?
  • Who does Deimos work for?  Is it Marcus Strongarm?
  • If Deimos works for the king, will we want to work for the king still?
  • What will the town guard of Lowenden do with us?

Notes for the Future
  • Find out more what is happening in the kingdom as we are are stuck in between a rebellion/civil war.
  • Find Deimos

Meta

Great story so far and the betrayal from Deimos was a nice twist.  Unexpected so early on.  Here I was starting to like Deimos!!  Cannot wait to see what other mischief we can get into next session.  


I hope you enjoyed my first journal in our adventures.  We hope to have many more to come.

Hello All, Dugan here to tell you bit about our first adventure.  I will let Farion share his tale of our first adventure in  Morriganland after we left Raven's Bluff. Once you are finished with his summation , finish reading my journal entry here. Farion's Tale Chapter 1  Heroes: Farion Malister Frostbeard Hammerstone Dugan Rex Brewmeister Locations: Raven's Bluff:    We took the ship Crescent Dove from this port to travel to Morriganland.  It was a medium size port, with a mix of all the noble races.   Village of Cove Long:    Our first stop off the boat when we arrived in Morriganland.  It was a pleasant village, expect for the bandits that were waiting on the road between Cove Long and Kindleview.
